This print was originally commissioned as a gift for Nicholson’s volunteers for his project Camp Pell Lectures (a collaboration with Tony Birch) at Artspace, Sydney.

Working with Big Fag Press, Nicholson also produced this limited edition print on fine paper. Produced from an archival photograph, the print depicts soldiers undergoing physical training at Camp Pell, Royal Park, Melbourne, in the 1940s or 50s.
